As a junior/professor, it is your responsibility to assess and evaluate the work and research performance of third parties who are sometimes strongly dependent on you as a supervisor, reviewer and/or employee. Consultations with students, doctoral candidates and doctoral candidates can therefore sometimes be very challenging.

An exchange among colleagues in a trusting, protected environment can provide relief and insight as well as open up strategies for action and solutions for future counseling and supervision sessions.

In small, closed groups, mutual support is initiated through an exchange of experiences and a change of perspective and learning from each other.

The aim is to support each other in problematic counseling situations and to develop solution strategies for the future. Through mutual counseling among colleagues, on the one hand, the handling of challenging counseling contexts is shared and, on the other hand, the experiences and best practice examples of all participants are learned from.

In a trusting and protected space, strategies and collegial support are learned and promoted within the framework of solution-oriented methods of case consultation and a fair feedback culture in order to gain more sovereignty and security in future consulting contexts.
